Who We Are

A Maryland native, Steve Ruppel previously served as Political Director for Speaker McCarthy’s political operation.

As Political Director, Steve traveled extensively with Speaker McCarthy on the campaign trail. He engaged with candidates who are now members and built relationships with the incumbents McCarthy campaigned for in previous cycles. Steve was the critical link between those Members, their chiefs of staff, and the broader McCarthy / NRCC political teams.

Before Team McCarthy, Steve worked on the 2018 Senate campaign for Patrick Morrisey in West Virginia.

After three years delivering for our clients as an Associate Principal, Steve was promoted to Principal at Miller Strategies in early 2026.
